The IRS recently -conveniently- claimed that two years worth of Lois Lerner’s emails were “lost in a computer crash.” This is an awfully convenient dodge, given that evidence that could implicate the President and others in the illegal targeting of conservative groups was probably in those emails. A former IRS IT contractor says it’s highly unlikely, given the agency’s backup protocols, that emails were anything but deliberately deleted.

Earlier this week, Harry Reid basically said stories about the millions of people being negatively impacted by Obamacare were lies made up by the Koch brothers, or something. The National Republican Senatorial Committee came up with a reply.

All of Obama’s promises have an expiration date. Usually it’s almost immediately after they leave his lips. I’m sure, though, that it’s most certainly someone else’s fault. I’m sure tonight’s SOTU will contain more “promises,” along with the news that he’s achieved almost all of his deficit reduction goals. $16.5 trillion: No big deal. (from CNS News)

Very good article on two developer brothers challenging the union-dominated status quo in Philadelphia.
Brutish threats, expletive-heavy protests, oil poured at construction-site entrances–for years, Philly unions have used intimidation and bully tactics to protect their power. Then two young developers set up cameras and a website, and set in motion the most dramatic power shift the city has seen in generations.

The Heritage Foundation released a new ad (admittedly, a long one) that details the crumbling of the White House narrative on the attack on the U.S. Embassy in Benghazi that resulted in the deaths of Ambassador Christopher Stevens, and 3 other Americans. Though the intelligence community knew within 24 hours that it was a coordinated terrorist attack, the White House through its spokesminions, up to and including Secretary of State Clinton, lied about it for days, and said it was a “spontaneous” reaction to some obscure movie that nobody over there had even seen.

I posted yesterday that Algore’s “altitude sickness” excuse for Obama’s terrible debate performance was the best yet. Well, that was yesterday. Today, MSNBC’s Ed Schultz has the NEW best excuse: “Romney told so many lies that Obama didn’t know which one to address first.”

Barack Obama gives some sage advice to Mitt Romney in a press briefing:
President Barack Obama at a briefing with reporters at the White House today said, “You can’t just make stuff up. That’s one thing you learn as president of the United States.”

“We said working folks deserved a break, so within one month of me taking office, we signed into law the biggest middle-class tax cut in history, putting more money into your pockets.”

This is a couple of weeks old, but still worth my posting and your reading. Everything Barack Obama says has an expiration date – if he hasn’t flip-flopped on an issue yet, just give him time. Jim Geraghty at NRO has a list of “expired” Obama (*DfOaLG) statements made from the time he was candidate Obama to now, when he’s Prevaricator in Chief. A couple of samples:
