I personally think Hillary Clinton would be almost as useless as president as Barack H. Obama has been – which is to say pretty useless (unless, of course, you’re all for implementing a progressive Utopia where the economy is in the crapper, and lawlessness and corruption infest the government). John Hinderaker is writing about the rush to create documentaries and movies about Hillary that paint her in as fantastic a light as possible (wait ’til you see the women they’re considering to play her; it’s laughable)- she’s worthy to be president, according to the folks rushing to make them. He finishes, though, with a thought that I’ve written here myself. Hillary has never accomplished anything, except to be Bill Clinton’s wife, and capitalize on the political capital of his coattails.

Ann Althouse sees, via CNN, that Hillary is taking a farewell tour. She then asks a question I’ve been wondering about for years.
My question: Has Hillary Clinton ever registered an actual accomplishment? She’s been given some positions of responsibility, and now she’s stepping down (perhaps to return). But tell me: What are her achievements, if any?

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has publicly taken responsibility for the attack on the U.S. Embassy in Libya, ostensibly trying to take the pressure off of the Commander in Chief. Republican senators John McCain, Lindsey Graham, and Kelly Ayotte have issued a statement that basically says “nice try”, but the president bears responsibility for this.

The Heritage Foundation released a new ad (admittedly, a long one) that details the crumbling of the White House narrative on the attack on the U.S. Embassy in Benghazi that resulted in the deaths of Ambassador Christopher Stevens, and 3 other Americans. Though the intelligence community knew within 24 hours that it was a coordinated terrorist attack, the White House through its spokesminions, up to and including Secretary of State Clinton, lied about it for days, and said it was a “spontaneous” reaction to some obscure movie that nobody over there had even seen.

Ambassador Christopher Stevens unavailable for comment.
(WSJ) State Department officials said security for the consulate was frequently reviewed and was deemed sufficient to counter what U.S. officials considered to be the most likely threat at the time: a limited hit-and-run attack with rocket-propelled grenades or improvised explosive devices, or IEDs.

Ben Stein writes about recent events and our president’s reaction, and the media, and the election – and comes to the conclusion that it’s very late for our American republic.
But think of what we have lost: I am writing this on Sunday night, September 16, 2012. The Obama administration is still apologizing to the Muslims worldwide, even in Libya even as the President of Libya says the killings there were not spontaneous but were long premeditated and the nutty movie was only a smokescreen. Our government is still saying, “Sorry,” to violent mobs because an American citizen exercised his first Amendment rights. Incredibly, Jay Carney, White House spokesman, is spinning a complete fairy tale that the Islamists really like America and Mr. Obama. The murderers are just upset about a movie trailer that came out months ago. How stupid do they think we Americans are? If Mr. Obama really believes, he belongs in a straitjacket. If not, his spokesman is the biggest fantasist of all time.

This is disturbing. If it’s true, Hillary Clinton needs to be fired. Of course, with Obama running the show, that would never happen, unless it’s to save his own hide.
The killings of the US ambassador to Libya and three of his staff were likely to have been the result of a serious and continuing security breach, The Independent can reveal.

Sarah Palin did an interview with Fox News’ Greta Van Susteren, and (rightly) called Joe Biden’s “back in chains” remark in Danville, VA, disgusting. She went on to say how Biden is “bringing that ticket down” and how the Dems should replace Biden with Hillary Clinton.

It’s an old tune, but a familiar one. In case you haven’t heard it lately, the beginning of this video from Reason.tv shows another of our progressive overlords – madame Clinton, who by the way isn’t speaking for the Obama (*DfOaLG) administration- perpetuating the time-tested class-warfare meme that gets the trodden-upon classes to vote Democrat (this is actually from before the vote on extending the Bush tax rates, but you get the point).

He has a “tough, watertight plan” to enable Obama to solve all the problems we’re having. Barry O (Descended from Olympus and Lightworker Genius) can do no wrong, but is, apparently, surrounded by lesser beings that are holding him back. So Matthews’ solution – Hillary Clinton as Secretary of Defense, and Michael Bloomberg as Treasury Secretary.
