Masterful, yes, if your specialty is sending the U.S. economy right down the toilet. Wile E. Obama and his ACME Economic Destruction Co. have been doing a masterful job of that. Here’s Oprah, genuflecting:

Gas prices (which, he promised, would “necessarily rise”). Mission accomplished.
Oh, and on the unemployment front, he’s been doing a really masterful job. What was that promise about the Porkulus bill? Right, unemployment would stay below 8%.
Here’s what actually happened (so far):
And, those unemployment numbers from December, where the rate went down to 8.5%? Bogus. Why? Because 3% of the workforce basically dropped out of the equation. They made the denominator smaller, so the percentage of unemployed appeard to go down.
Yep, masterful.
