I’ve posted before about occasionally getting opportunities to sing at weddings and baseball games. Here’s one of the times I enjoyed a lot. I was part of a show of Broadway tunes several years back, with a whole bunch of talented folks. I don’t know much music from Broadway, so this was a new experience for me. My friend Doug Adams, who has performed in a lot of bands over the years, and is now part of Kings of Swing, found the VHS of the performance (I wasn’t aware that there was one). Here’s the song that he and I did for the show. It’s called “Lilly’s Eyes” from The Secret Garden.
I talked with Doug tonight and he said this was May of 2005. My, how time flies.
