We headed out to Pine Forest yesterday to celebrate my Mom’s birthday. Which one was it? You’ll have to ask her…
We had dinner with her and my siblings John and Stacey, and their families – had some cake and ice cream, and did a little fishing.

After dinner:
Lindsey caught a nice 20″ bass – almost by accident. She and Jake were out in the boat, and had to get her purple worm unstuck from a tree that overhangs the bank. She casts “just one more time”, and hooks this guy (one of the biggest we’ve caught out there):
We snagged a couple of smaller bass:
And one pretty good one (about 18″ and 3 lbs.):
And then, as dark approaches, we say goodbye
