Yep. This is exactly what we need – the government should put BP into “temporary (when has there ever been a temporary government program?) receivership” so they can “ensure BP’s strategy is correct…”
Pay no attention to the man in the empty suit!
This is laughable. It’s clear the Obama administration has no idea how to deal with the problem, and has admitted as much in news briefings over the weekend. Now they are backpedaling as quickly as possible to distance themselves from BP’s efforts, only four days after declaring “Make no mistake: BP is operating at our direction.”
Another classic nugget from Reich’s quote: “and be sure the President is ultimately in charge.” The only thing O has been in charge of is pontificating from his bully pulpit in the lame stream media, and demonstrating -yet again- that he is capable of almost nothing, except destruction.
